Makoto Tachibana x Reader

       "I'm home!" Your boyfriend of four years called out as he walked through the front door. You smiled. As per usual, your dropped (placed) the remote on the coffee table and dashed to give hugs and kisses. You truly loved this man.

       "I missed you~" He had gotten back form his classes just now. The two of you had two hours together before you left for work.

       You proceed to watch Netflix while cuddling. Of course, and hour in, the lovable green-eyed man fell asleep, his soft snores tickling your ears.

       You maneuvered yourself as to not disturb him while you got up to change into your uniform. Before you left, you placed a kiss on Makoto's forehead. You locked the door behind you.

       Coming home the next morning (having worked another night shift) you kicked off your your shoes, crawled into bed with the boy of your dreams and promptly fell asleep.

       When you woke up a few hours later, you saw that Makoto left you breakfast at the table. Everything was set up fancy like he usually does it. You sat down and went to grab your fork from the napkin. Your eyes widened. There was a ring around it.

       An engagement ring.

       You grabbed your keys, hurriedly threw on your flip-flops and jacked, and left the apartment. You drove to his class; you didn't care if you were interrupting. Makoto should know you by now.

       You walked in, and the professor looked somewhat shocked to see you. Makoto stood as well, not expecting you either. "[y/n]?"

       You started to call out to him as you climbed up the stairs to his row. "Yes!" His face lit up, and he started to make his way to meet you where you were. As he got there, you jumped the rest of the way into his arms, kissing and hugging him to death.

       The professor tapped him mic. "May I ask, what in the world is going on?!" Makoto smiled.

       "I- we -just got engaged!!" Everyone started to applaud while the professor just sat there looking impatient.

       "Well, would your new fiancé please wait outside? I still have seventeen minutes of class time left." You smiled at your brunette fiancé and quickly left.

       "Thank you so much, [y/n]. I love you so, so much." The two of you were cuddling together before you went to bed.

       "I know. And I love you too." The peace that was in this moment fluctuated in the life you two shared, but in the end, it's what you remembered the most.
