You didn't know what you were going to tell him. Ace, that is. You were curled in a ball on your toilet, freaking the moment when you have to confess. Your boyfriend of four years and fiancé of four months was in the next room, singing to himself and doing simple chores.
He knocked on the door, and his clear, worried voice cut through the air. "[y/n]? Are you alright?" You panicked when you heard him, but could not deny your love. Reluctantly, you unfurl yourself and unlock the door, looking into his concerned, warm brown eyes. His face was a mix of emotions.
"Ace, I…I have to tell you something." You looked him in the eyes, knowing he'd find out anyway. He nodded and led you to the couch, knowing that he'd have to sit down when you gave him a single look.
"What is it? You can tell me anything, sweetie." You knew this, as he had shown his trustworthiness on many occasions. It was on of the numerous traits you liked about him. You loved every inch of him, so when you said that you liked them, it was a way of stating that they were your obvious favorites.
"Honey. I love you, and you love me, correct?" He nodded in confirmation. "And you know that we are to be wed in a few months as well?" He bobbed his head once again. "Well, let's just say that I may have to get re-fitted for that dress." Confusion etched onto his freaked face.
"Why's that?" You smile, his ignorance was adorable, and he hated that he could't figure things out as quickly as others. You loved the way he tilted his head when he didn't know the answer, or when his eyebrows scrunched together in mystification. You place your hand on one of his broad, muscular shoulders.
"Ace, I…I'm pregnant." Your eyes bore into his chocolate ones, and his face grew ecstatic. The strong man stood, lifting you in his arms, and swinging you around. You both began to giggle, laugh, chuckle, until you were out of breath. Ace was jubilant at the thought of you holding his child in your womb, overjoyed. He loved the idea of you waddling around with a large stomach carrying his soon to be son or daughter.
"That's wonderful!! Luffy and Sabo will be tickled pink knowing they're gonna be uncles…and you can't forget Archer and John! They'll be vivacious! Oh, I can't wait to tell everyone!!" Finally, the teacher placed you on your feet, your face flushed from flying high. You were excited as well, and warmed knowing that i life was starting to grow inside of you.
Albiet, you were frightened at the task of childbirth, but would endure it at the price of being capable of raising one of your own. You and Ace would grow and learn to be terrific parents, as well as loving and kind.
At the wedding, you were a couple months along, so you had opted to modify your simple dress at a low cost, and not a dry eye existed during the ceremony. Even the priest was misty-eyed when You and Ace exchanged vows. Your closest friends were nearly sobbing and your parents were gleaming. You and Ace loved one another to the point of no return. The two of you would live together for another 75 years, living to be great-grandparents.
The night of your 75th anniversary, You and he fell asleep cuddling, smiles saying millions of things, but nothing at all. They spoke of love for one another and of love for your family. The told tales of content and a well lived life, bursting at the seams with time well spent. The memories all saved in a scrapbook passed around at the memorial. The two of you lead extravagant live, and the only reason people were crying was because they were glad to see you leave together in each other's arms, surrounded by loved ones and time that was well spent, was well deserved, was well paid off

Ace X Reader: What the Heart Yearns Part 3
"You grew up." You marveled and looked at his features, his appearance had matured so much, yet he still retained someone the features you remembered him having. You fondly reminisced the memories of your early childhood.
“Over here! Pass the ball!” Sabo’s cheerful laugh came from a few meters away. You were playing catch with him in a grassy clearing. It had become your secret playground after you discovered it a few weeks ago. No one knew about this place except for you two. You would meet here every day since it wasn't a problem for your parents, in fact they were happy that you became such close friends with someone of
